Participating in “Moving into Stillness” is stepping into a sacred pause.
A week dedicated to remembering what it feels like to fully inhabit your body, connect with your breath, and anchor into your Being.
This retreat is not just about practicing yoga. It’s about LIVING YOGA.
Each day, you’ll move through carefully guided practices designed to awaken your awareness, soften resistance, and help release patterns of tension and disconnection. Through Mysore-style classes, pranayama, meditation, and deep study, you’ll experience Ashtanga Yoga as a path of personal transformation, rooted in devotion and guided by presence.
Held by the mountains, nourished by nature, and supported by a conscious community, you’ll return to the quiet intelligence of your own heart. You’ll feel the beauty of moving with purpose and the power of arriving in stillness.
Whether you come seeking rest, inspiration, clarity, or growth, this experience will meet you exactly where you are and invite you to go deeper.
ÁMATE CAMP

Welcome to our healing center, a sacred space inspired by the essence of nature and its elements.
Amate Camp has been lovingly designed to guide you on a deep inner journey, a path of spiritual awakening, reconnection, and transformation. Every corner has been created with intention, inviting conscious experiences that nourish the body, calm the mind, and awaken the soul.
Here, the energy of the earth feels alive. The air embraces you gently. The fire ignites your purpose. And the water flows as a guide, helping you release what no longer serves you.
We are nestled high in the mystical mountains of Tepoztlán, a magical town rich with history, ancestral wisdom, and pre-Hispanic traditions that still pulse through every stone, every song, every gaze. This place is not only blessed with breathtaking geography, but also holds a powerful energy, long recognized as a portal for healing and expansion.
Surrounded by lush nature, we invite you to pause from the fast pace of daily life. To disconnect from the noise of the outside world and reconnect with what is most essential: your own essence.
Here, time becomes medicine, silence is a teacher, and the natural world is a mirror that gently guides your inner process.
Amate Camp is not just a place. It is an experience, a heartfelt embrace, a soul’s calling. 🌿

Hannah Marciniak
Ashtanga Yoga Teacher
Yoga and exercise therapist
Hännah has been a serious and dedicated student of yoga as a path of healing and transformation since 2002. She is currently a practicing yoga therapist and teaches full-time in Bend, Oregon, working individually and with small groups to unlock the transformative power of yoga and cultivate genuine, sustainable well-being.
For over 20 years, she has cultivated a deep, clear, and experiential understanding of yoga through daily practice and committed study with teachers she has carefully chosen for their authenticity, depth, and humility. One of the most influential figures on her path was the late Nancy Gilgoff, an exceptional teacher, healer, and practitioner known for her fidelity to the transformative lineage she received as one of the first and closest Western students of Pattabhi Jois.
Nancy, who underwent a profound personal transformation through yoga practice, conveyed to her students teachings imbued with conviction, love, and lived wisdom. Hännah studied closely with Nancy for 13 years, during which Nancy supported her through debilitating injuries, chronic physical and mental suffering, and numerous profound life transitions.
Thanks to Nancy, Hännah met her current teachers: the Mohan family in India, direct disciples of Krishnamacharya, with whom she continues deepening her study of philosophy, Ayurveda, and yoga as a therapeutic practice.
Hännah’s teaching is clear, expansive, and accessible, offering a path toward deep inner growth, whether in a therapeutic context or Mysore-style practice. With warmth and compassion, she holds a space where we can honestly see ourselves and begin transforming the patterns that limit us and cause pain.

Fernanda Ugarte
Vinyasa and Ashtanga Yoga Teacher
Founder of Tribu Alma Yoga
Eternal student, traveler, and mountain lover.
She discovered yoga at age 21. It was at that time she began exploring outdoor sports and immersing herself in nature in a much deeper way.
Since 2017, she has been sharing the path and teachings of yoga, supporting journeys of self-discovery and well-being through classes, workshops, retreats, trips, and diverse experiences. In 2021, she founded her great dream, which she continues to bring to life today: Tribu Alma Yoga. There, she seeks to create, in collaboration, profound experiences of connection with nature, culture, communities, adventure, and wellness.
Her teachers who inspire and guide her are Matias Guerra and Hannah Marciniak, for whom she feels deep respect and love due to the care and dedication with which they share the practice.
The mountains have awakened in her an inner fire that has taught her trust, willpower, perseverance, and the great power that now drives her to share this with others — inspiring them to live with passion, purpose, and love.
This year, she decided to study for two years to become an Ayurveda Therapist with Somos India. She is enjoying and embracing the process while continuing to teach in person in Bend, Oregon (USA), online with her students in Chile, and traveling to reconnect.
